Brazil overwhelms Latin America in team challenge at LFA 187

CAJAMAR, São Paulo, Brazil — In the first-ever Brazil vs. Latin America team challenge in LFA history, the Brazilian team defended their home turf emphatically against the Latin American team. In the main event, former LFA welterweight champion Carlos “The Lion” Leal defeated Venezuelan standout Manuel Mena to conclude the night with an exclamation point for the home team. Leal scored a walk-off knockout at 3:09 of Round 1 to announce his return to the promotion. In the co-main event, another top Brazilian prospect shined when Marcos “Tailandês” Degli dominated his Argentinian opponent. Degli secured the back of Ignacio “Nachito” Fernandez toward the end of the first round and finished the fight via TKO after landing a barrage of punches from back control. About GINÁSIO DO POLVILHO:
The Municipality of Cajamar, through the Department of Public Works and Services, coordinated the complete renovation of the entire structure of the Polvilho Gym.
